Anna & The French Kiss- Review

Title: Anna & The French Kiss
Author: Stephanie Perkins
Release Date: December 2nd, 2010
Rating: 8/10

I have been wanting to read this book for a long time, as I’ve heard so many good things about it and it sure didn’t disappoint me! It was cute and cheesy- similar to The Geography of You and Me (but the storyline is totally different).

It is about a girl called Anna who is forced by her parents to attend university in France, there she meets St. Clair and soon she falls in love with him. St. Clair and Anna become really close friends but then are faced with obstacles which tests their relationship. I totally recommend this book if you are looking for a book similar to The Geography of You & Me- cute, romantic and contemporary.

I really loved learning about the French culture. The first time St Clair took Anna out to France was so cute. When he took her to point zero and told her to make it wish, it was so cute.

I was so frustrated whenever Elle came into the scene- she was so annoying. Lets not forget to mention Toph- who was probably the most annoying out of all of the characters, he left Anna for her best friend. That annoyed me so much!

The ending where they said sorry to each other on top of the Notre Dame was so cute!

I really want to read her other books- Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and The Happy Ever After. I can’t wait to start them!
